Frequently Asked Questions
about Daje Pinsa Roman Pizza
1. What is pinsa? Is pinsa pizza?
Pinsa Romana is a Roman-style cousin of pizza, known for its oval shape, crisp exterior, and light, airy center. Our dough combines wheat, rice, and soy flours with sourdough and a long fermentation process.
2. How is pinsa different from Neapolitan pizza and pizza al taglio?
Neapolitan pizza is typically round, with a soft center and raised rim, while pizza al taglio is baked in trays and sold in portions. Our pinsa is oval, with a crisp exterior and airy center, and is topped and finished to order.
3. How do you say Daje, and what does it mean?
Daje is pronounced “DAH-yeh!” It’s a Roman expression meaning “Let’s go!” or “Come on!” and captures the warmth and energy we bring to every visit.
4. Where do the pinsa bases come from?
Our pinsa bases are made in Italy by Di Marco and imported to our Orlando kitchen. We add the toppings and finish each pinsa to order, bringing Italian craftsmanship to every bite.
5. Is pinsa gluten-free? Do you offer vegan crusts?
Our signature pinsa contains wheat and soy and is not gluten-free. For questions about vegan crust ingredients, alternative crusts, or food allergies, please contact us before ordering so we can explain our ingredients and preparation practices.
6. Do you have vegetarian and dairy-free options?
Yes! We offer vegetarian pinsas, including Margherita and Mediterranean Veggie, and vegan cheese is available as a dairy-free alternative. Please ask our team about the other ingredients in your selection before ordering.
7. Where are you located?

We serve whole pinsas only. Each pinsa is sized for one person but can also be shared alongside appetizers or a salad.
11. What appetizers, sides, and drinks do you offer?
Our planned menu includes Prosciutto e Burrata, house-made Gnocchi alla Romana, Caesar salad, and Italian desserts such as tiramisù. Pair your meal with an espresso, cappuccino, latte, or a refreshing non-alcoholic drink.

Online ordering through our website is planned for opening. Delivery through third-party services such as DoorDash and Uber Eats is planned for a later date, and we’ll announce when it becomes available.
